Lourie Ann Rice
Lourie Ann Rice, 37, passed away Saturday August 30, 2008 in Denton, Texas. She was born September 4, 1970 in Denton, Tx to Floyd Eugene Starnes and Virginia Lee Smith. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Robert David Rice of Denton and Michael Terry Rice of Pilot Point and one daughter, Shay Denise Rice of Pilot Point; one grandson Haden Scott Rice of Denton; husband Terry Rice of Pilot Point; two brothers, James Madison Simmons, III of Wylie, Tx and Allen Eugene Starnes of Pilot Point; two sisters, Vickie Stewart of Denton and Sharon Simmons of Wylie; mother Virginia Ruth Starnes; six nephews and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father Floyd Eugene Starnes; One Brother Stephen Dewayne Starnes and one sister Deborah Lynn Simmons.
Visitation will be on Tuesday September 2, 2008 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm at the Huff/Slay Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 4:00 pm also at Huff/Slay.
Services are under the direction of Huff/Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point, Texas.
